IK EXPANSION PACKSĀ are our attempt and making it as easy as possible to expand your sonic vocabulary and customize your IK Template with the virtual instruments you already own but may not be using (eitherĀ becauseĀ there are too many patches to search through, or because integrating them with a template is actually a lot of work). Once installed, it’s your turn to figure out how you will use the patches in andĀ amongst the stock MainStage patches! We can’t wait to hear what you’re going to do with them!!
In terms of sound quality and the quality of it’s presets, Spectrasonics Omnisphere Ā is an unsurpassed 3rd party virtual instrument. However, Omnisphere has over 7,000 presets, and even with the included keyword search, auditioning that many patches is a lot of work, and then the mod wheel operates typically in reverse of the way we roll. For IntuitiveKeys users, we’ve done that searching work for you, and configured these patches the way the rest of our patches think and behave.
NOTE: This expansion pack contains no samplesĀ so takes up almost no hard drive space! i.e. < 2 MB. It is not new sounds for Omnisphere. Instead, this expansion pack is an implementation of Omnisphere, with X-Y Pad parameters, volume, and effects parameters all carefully curated, Ā into our templates.
